What I heard....3/7/09

Not much time today to listen to anything, but on the way to pick up dinner, I went back to Laurie Anderson's _Mister Heartbreak_. An acquired taste in many senses, but I was reminded that Peter Gabriel played a big part, as well as production by Bill Laswell, of whom I am a fan. But, the album is so worth it just to hear William S. Burroughs reading for the final cut, "Sharkey's Night." Brilliant.
